WEDDING CEREMONIES


ANDEAN WEDDING CEREMONY: The couple and the goodparents are dressed with typical clothes. The Altomisayoq hosts this activity. The ceremony is carried out outdoors in Moray, Huaypo lagoon and Fissure of Chicon. The Payment to the Mother Earth is performed, the tools that the couple will use are blessed and they will be given a trunk filled with offerings. During all the ceremony a choir accompanies the celebration, is necessary to say that a group of children throws flowers and seeds to couple as much at the beginning as when coming out, at the end the couple get the popular Bulls of Pucara clay made , as prosterity symbol.
GOLDEN WEDDING ANIVESARIES: This is a special opportunity to renew its married commitments, and can as much be of a catholic celebration as Andean. The staging is similar to both previous ceremonies.


CIVIL WEDDING CEREMONY: The procedure will be arranged for peruvian or residents only. The ceremony will be carried out in the City Hall but also they can be carried out in a hotel in Pisac, Calca, Huyallabamba, Yucay, Urubamba, Maras or Chinchero.
CATHOLIC WEDDING CEREMONY: These ceremonies can be carried out in the churches of Yucay, Huayllabamba, Maras or Chinchero. The price includes the ceremony, procedures, decoration of the church and the bride's bouquet. (Ask about the extra arrangements).
