RAFTING
Description
- The river called Vilcanota (also called Wilcamayu, the same one that downstream will take Urubamba's name, between the districts of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo) allows us to practice rafting in different areas and levels. The river nourishes, irrigates and feeds a great quantity of villages that border it. The most frequent routes are, among others:
- Piñipampa – Huambutio – San SalvadorDuration: 10 min
-
We recommend this route in the rainy season (Dec - Mar). We will set in at Piñipampa town. The distance of the crossing is 15 kilometers, we will arrive to San Salvador, next to Pisac, where the activity is finished.
